I've been procrastinating on posting lately. The perfectionist side of me don't feel satisfied with the quality of photos that I have and contemplate over and over again if I should post. The other I-Don't-Care part of me is just going to compile everything into one. Here goes nothing.
29th June: Prayers over at cousins's house. It was a good night; catching up with cousins, good food, Atok's birthday. The only one that is missing is Aishah since her flight was the next morning. Hope to see her soon.
1st July: The first performance with the new batch of Nira girls. I see potential in them and have the faith that they will do better in the future with more training. I had fun since it's been a while since we have been on stage performing.
2nd July: Went to catch LionsXII against Felda at Jalan Besar with brother and his friends. It was a memorable game. The atmosphere was great especially in the second half when Singapore started scoring. It was officially the best game ever. Happy to say LionsXII crowned champions of MSL after their 4-0 win against Felda. Being an idiot, I wore blue and stood out in the sea of reds. At least, it was easy to spot me on tv.
3rd July: I've finally secured a placement for my internship. Too tired and lazy to go for anymore interviews. I met up with Ain for lunch at the airport since she's working there at the moment and I have to meet my SIP company there to sign my contract. Lunch was good and I was so full at the end.
Friday night. A much needed lepak session over dinner. We were pretty hungry that night. I remember having prata after that and a red velvet cupcake from the cake shop beside it. Not really a good idea when you have sore throat and cough. It got so bad that night that I literally felt like coughing out the contents of my stomach. Woke up on Saturday with a fever and cough still. Stayed in bed till like 4 in the evening. Just like that my Saturday was gone.
7th July: Piala Suara Serumpun. Been looking forward to this since forever. Still upset that Nira did not get to compete this year. Enjoyed most of the sets from the different Polys and ITEs. Congratulations to PST boys for getting Best Percussion, Best Awok and 3rd place overall. Really proud of them. They did their best and it is clearly shown. It was a tough fight, honestly. Having those post competition syndrome. Spent hours watching dikir videos on Youtube earliear on.
