She asked herself the same thing from time to time. Sometimes she wished she knew too.
To say that she finally succumbed to peer pressure may sound like an excuse seeing how she had fight the urge for years. Maybe, it's just her falling into her own temptation.
It sounds stupid, but it made her feel good. To her at least. She watched as it rested between her fingers. Burning to ashes and fading into thin air. Call her crazy, it was therapeutic - to say the least. In that few minutes while it last, she doesn't have to care about the world.
How can something that makes you feel so good be bad for you?
