I was reading a book titled, Tuesdays with Morrie, earlier on on the way to town with Mia & Sha. I have not finish it though. A book about an old man suffering an incurable disease, however still lives positively awaiting his death. Funny. Just received sad news through a phone call that my grand-uncle just passed away. Going to visit him/ to the funeral early morning tomorrow.

May God bless his soul and place him together with the others by His side.

Feeling shitty on a shitty day is the best combination ever. I totally screwed up my GTT in class assignment yesterday and still can't get over it. I dropped my lunch money yesterday & didn't bring any today. Got ditched in the evening. These days has been my little series of misfortunate events. Maybe it's just me. Sleeping at 4 in the mornig didn't really help either. It just made me more cranky. Econs presentation, POC presentation & BCS test tomorrow which again, I'm totally screwed for. Another sleepless night for me.

On a side note, the full moon looks really beautiful tonight. Looking at it made me feel more calm. Oh, the beauty if His creation :)

Edit: I swear BCS is the lamest subject ever. Reading through half of my lecture notes and nothing is going in. It's just a load of crap. I'm prepared for the worst.

I've got a test tomorrow, on a Saturday morning.

What a bummer. I want to sleep in. I've got 10 lectures to cover & I only attended like 3 of them which I hardly paid attention during. So basically, I'm screwed. Gonna burn some midnight oil which is what I've been doing the whole week. Relying on Coke to keep me awake for the night. I just hope that I can wake up tomorrow morning and not be late for the test. I'm not going to waste anymore of my money cabbing to school.

To top it all, I have this feeling that I'm going to be sick. You know that kind of feeling at the back of your throat?

I had a great time watching soccer yesterday. The last time I went for a live match was back in 2005 when the old national stadium was still standing. I had a really good laugh listening to the boys shouting. You know how it is when boys watch soccer. I had my fair share as well. The game was all good until my favourite player got sent off :( Still, they managed to defend their standing with only 10 men.

Lucky enough I did not lose my voice since I had to do a presentation earlier on.

Tomorrow is Thursday. Have I mentioned how I kind of hate Thursday? It's so full of tutorials. And there's make up tutorials early in the morn. So it's going to be 9am-7pm.

Had fun meeting up with the 4ds earlier. Since Jx is in town for her holiday, we decided to have the gathering while she is here. Not all turned up but more than half the class did which was good. Most of the time our plans for a gathering backfired, so kinda glad that this went through. We went for lunch and had a bit of trouble deciding where to head off to next. Settled for bowling down at Safra. Felt like it was still the holidays.

They're planning another gathering, a bbq this coming Friday. Hope that turned out as planned as well. Anyway, I had a really good time today.

My flu is nearly gone but the cough is just starting. Drinking coke twice, eating ice shaved dessert and ice-cream earlier was not really helpful. I've had a long day & I'm tired & there's morning lecture later on. I foresee a hectic week ahead :/

My parents can be random at times. New Year morning, they said we were going for a drive to Genting Highland that night. So, we went. Set off at midnight & reached there early Monday morning. We went there just to enjoy the weather and relaxed for the day. We head back home in the evening. I've always loved the sunset on the highway back home. It was a good drive except that we witnessed a car accident on the way home & I got the front row view. Not something I would want to witness again :/

Went to watch fireworks with Sha & Han down at Esplanade.

After that, we simply hang around the area listening to the live band.

2011 was the year that went by a little bit too fast without realising. Looking back, it felt like I wasted the first half of the year doing nothing. But then again, those nothing moments are memories. Going into a whole new unfamiliar environment, met new friends, tried many things for the first time, mistakes & regrets, growing up, learning & understanding myself. 2012 will be the same.

Since there was no one to go out with, I asked father out. We waited for mother to get back from work since she wanted to tag along. I really wanted to get those candles from Ikea cause I ran out of it. They smell heavenly especially the Vanilla scent. Got the 50mm f/1.8 lense that I have been eyeing for quite some time from Courts next door. Tested it out once I got back and it was great. But I somehow feel kind of guilty for getting the zoom lense as well. Those lenses, it ain't cheap yo.

The cool rainy weather is really nice to stay indoors and read books or have movie marathons (did it when cousins sleepover). I've bought the Norwegian Wood last Friday and I've still not completed it yet. Taking my own sweet time to read this book and enjoy every single detail of it.

It's Friday today yet it feels like weekends to me since I didn't went for class in the morning.

Went out with Mia & Sha today to Bugis. I have not met up with Mia for quite some time. Pretty satisfied with what I bought. Glad that I can fit into the shirt that I bought since they didn't allow us to try beforehand. Can't wait for a second shopping trip with the cousins on Sunday together with the aunts since they are treating :D

Anyway, school's workload is piling up. Trying my best to do everything on time & accurately. Got a lot of online assignment needs to be done. Since the dateline is still far away, we tend to procastinate & eventually forget. I just hope I don't.

Tonight is one of those night where everything gets me to start thinking.

1. I don't know what exactly got me started but school is one of the reasons. I've got this strong urge to change course lately & I don't know how to bring up this matter to my parents. I don't know what made me choose this course in the first place. I don't know what the hell I'm doing in business school. Business stuff is not really my interest but the tourism part was what that got me interested and now it's totally different from what I expected. Honestly, it bores the shit out of me. It feels like I'm going to school just for the sake of it. I want to do something that I like without having to think of what it may bring me in the future. Fuck it, I want to enjoy my poly life.

2. Maybe, it's because it is the 23rd of the month already. It's been 3 month since Nenek left us. God, I miss her so bad. Just thinking about her gets me teary eyed. Gets me thinking how short life is & what I have been doing all my life and the time to come.

3. Or, maybe it is just the time. It's1.38am & I'm still up.

4. Or, just the confused mind of a seventeen year old still finding out what the hell she really wants. All the insecurities. It's time to escape from fiction to face reality. Cause when reality hits, it hits hard. It's time to face the real world. It's time to grow up.

I went out with Ain & Naz for karaoke just now. Had loads of fun jumping around. I shall introduce more malay songs to the other two next time & make them more malay so we can jiwang together :D

This should be the last lepak session before school re-opens next Monday. I've gotten into one of the CDS that I choose but I'm not sure about the other one. Mondays starts from 9am-6pm this semester, oh lord. At least my Fridays ends at 12 pm, woohoo. I just hope this semester will be better for me.

This week has been the most slack-iest week ever the term began since all projects are done. I literally did nothing, no studying no nothing. I just laze around in the living room on the sofa with my phone and internet.

I've got to start studying since exams are in two weeks and I've got a LOT of chapters and subjects to cover. It's unfair how most of my friends only have 3 papers to sit for while I have 5. The worst thing is that papers are on 4 days after Raya consecutively. How do I enjoy like this? Even Raya on O's year isn't this bad D:

First week of Ramadhan has passed. Our first Ramadhan without Nenek around. It feels different but we are slowly adapting to it. It was a good month for her to go. Her body was cold and white when I helped to bathe her. That's the final thing I can help her while she was still here.

I miss her seriously. May God bless her soul.

I've been living at nenek's place since her funeral with cousins and all. At least with everyone around, we don't really feel lonely. I havent gone home for a week now. Only once or twice just to pick up school stuff and clothes.

This past week was hella tired for me. I've got a lot of stuff that needs to get done. There's projects and individual assignments that I have to complete. Projects are all due in the coming week. I literally slept for only 2-3 hours everyday for almost the whole week. God, poly is not easy.

I met Mia & Sha and we just chilled for the whole day after breakfast. It feels good not doing anything & not think about sch.

CHALET

We had a family chalet on Satuday night. It was fun meeting the cousins. We were jamming to JB's songs in the room, hahahah.

We went night cycling from ECP to Changi beach then back to ECP. It was fun but some accidents happened along the way so me, Alep & Haqym ended up walking our way home. We ended up reaching the chalet at 5am. My thighs and butt are killing me right now. They are freaking sore. I just hope my arms will be fine tmrw since I got a paper to sit for.

Swimming in the morning before checking out. I swear swimming in the rain is the best feeling. It feels damn relaxing staying under water. Plus, the pool was 2.4m deep-damn syiok. I'm just lucky I didnt get any leg cramp :/

I'm up waiting for finals at 3am. This is one of those rare occasions that father allows me to go out that late but just because it is a Man United's match. If only Sha is in the east area, we will be at Mcd right now lepak-ing until the match starts. So instead, I'm at cousin's house to watch the match. It's good to have close guy friends sometimes so I can watch soccer with.

I had to go to the supermarket for an assignment to check out on fruits and vegetables. It was pretty quick since we only need a few items & I have to rush of for my class. Of course, we would explore the snacks section :D

Happy Birthday Bukit! We had a small reunion to celebrate Hil's birthday in sch just now. Another one turned seventeen already.

It's only the third week of sch but I'm damn confused already. There's like different projects, individual & group, for every subject which I don't even know of. Then, there's also assignments, research, tutorials and stuff. I need to like be more organised or something but still the forver procastinate. Old habit die hards right.

Overall sch is fine, friends are nice but I swear I hate the timetable. I end at six almost everyday, dang it.

I've been working the past week thus the missing in action but now I'm free. I think I'm going to miss the feeling or maybe not. I'm back to my waking up in the middle of the day routine.

The laptop is down so I can't upload photos from the Monday where we sent abg asyraf off. I have to bear with the computer and sister's laptop for the mean time. I just hope that all my pictures in the laptop is not gone.

My orientation is next week. I'm sexcited+nervous at the same time. My friends have start school by then and I havent even go for orientation. I just hope that I'm going to enjoy my time and not regret my decisions of taking up this course.

Went for dinner with big family at Simpang. So-called gathering/celebration before abg asyraf fly back to Azhar. No pictures of last night since I did'nt bring my camera along. Anyway, it was a good night meeting the cousins and great dinner. Thanks Mak Long for the treat! :D

A Splashing Wet Day

I had an awesome time with them today at Wild Wild Wet. Now my eyes are all red and my skin literally feels like it is on fire. My five dollar watch is also gone as I was stubborn and went ahead with it into the pool.

I'm so freaking tired right now. I guess today would be the first time in many months that I will actually sleep before midnight. I think I'm down with a flu. My nose are runny :/

Weekend getaway

Batam wasnt so bad with the company. Don't get me wrong, it would be awesome to have someone my age that I know to have went along but it wasnt that bad. In fact it was quite a trip.

I manage to buy some t-shirts that I wanted for cheap, went for massage/facial & hair treatment.
The room has free wi-fi which I called the front desk four times at 1 in the morning to get the password to log in. So, that pretty much entertained me the whole night.
I got my own bad/mattress on side of the room.
The tv has loadsss of channel which was really cool.
Likeaboss, I ordered room service consisting of fish&chips and Carbonara + Coke at 1 in the morning all for myself.
I had the room all to myself in the before&after breakfast. I was practically singing/shouting/dancing alone/along to the music on the tv while getting ready.
My mum allowed me to walk and shop alone at the mall so that was awesome since I'll be bored to death if I was to follow them.
We get to go to the vip lounge while waiting for the ferry home so that we won't have to queue & I got to seat by the window on the ferry home with this cute half chinese half matsalleh guy sitting beside me.

So pretty much, it was an awesome trip :D

I'm up in the mountains for the weekends, a short getaway.

It sucks how there is no free wifi/internet. So, the we paid for the internet. Might as well use it since we've paid for it. Thus, the reason for me still awake and blogging at this time. It's not really my bedtime yet since I'm so used to sleeping really late. Anyway, I can always sleep in the car on the journey home.

Turning Seventeen

A lot of people turned seventeen today or a year older & one of them is Shehan. Sha & I treated her to lunch after our interview in the morning. At first wanted to head to ZamZam, but then we suddenly recalled this awesome Nasi Padang stall we ate once during this sch event. So we searched around for the shop but didnt find it so we settled for another nasi padang stall. The food was not too bad but the service sucks, seriously. I don't think we ever going there again.

Otw, we went to this one toy shop. Omg, the place is heaven. I could spend all day in there, re-living my childhood :D

I believe that I have the skills & talent in playing pool. Haha yeah right, it's just pure luck. Played pool with Han at Safra which I won 3 out of the 4 games we played. I would have won all the games if not for me putting the black ball in in the first game. Told ya, skills. Haha, jk.

I'm totally hyped & excited for our project. Please, please, please la menjadi ok.

I did'nt really do much at sch yesterday for the Carnival since I wake up late & have to get back home early for Saturday class. Kyne showed me his homemade fisheye lens which was real cool. I know how to make it, it's just that I'm lazy. A lot of my friends(including me) seem to be sick. Season maybe?

Then at night to attend some prayers. The cousins did not attend. After which they show this old vid of us back in 2007. Damn shit, embarassingggggg. Mane nak letak muke?! It was a good laugh though. Looking back at my 2007 self, fcking funnehhh.

Work is seriously exhausting, serious shit. They either keep me in the store or send me out to the atrium. So, I have the best of both worlds :D My limbs feel like breaking into a thousand little pieces right now. Tmrw is an off day, so I probably sleep late today or maybe not since I'm dead tired. Luckily this thing is only for week with Sunday being my last day.

Send Jiaxiu off to Australia on Wednesday. Most of our classmate came. We had dinner together before sending her off. It felt more like a class reunion we planned which never happened.

Sha got me an interview for an upcoming atrium sale. I had to go for an interview on Tuesday & Sha accompanied me. Ain followed us as she wants to go out. We had our late lunch at Vivo. Ohmy, I freaking love Daiso & got all excited. We sat at the rooftop(?) and just chill around before heading back.

Met Mia for a while after that before cabbing home. Thanks to Sha's mother for the treat.

I went for lunch with Sha & Hilly at Seoul Garden the other day. The day that abg achap came back. That was the last time I went out. I want go out again soon. Why is everyone like busy like that? Plus, I need to find money right now. My funds are drying up pretty fast. Somehow, I don't feel like going out these days because I'm no longer entitled to student fare :( The pain of using adult's fare is seriously no joke.

I want to head down to the library soon & find some books to occupy my time. I seriously miss doing something. The main reason I'm blogging at nearly 2 in the morn. I just got nothing to do.

I went out alone today in the cold bus, looking out the window at the rain while listening to my mp4. Fml, foreveralone.

I'm loving the weather. It's so cold & dark & gloomy. Everyone would just love to stay in bed and cuddle under the blanket. Too bad they have school, ha ha. What I love about the weather is that it gives me an excuse to wear my hoodie out or even at home. A movie/dvd would be perfect in the dark plus some hot chocolate/milo to go with it. Win.

I hope the weather will remain like this for some time. To those complaining about the weather, get a life already and start enjoying it while it last.

We were suppose to go on a so-called picnic today but then the results came out today. They got into JC so they cancelled it since they have sch tmrw & need to prepare I think. Well, at least I get to sleep a bit a longer. Thank God we actually cancelled it. The weather was somewhat tak tentu. Rain, not raining, rain, not raining.

I made sandwiches. Well, sort-of since there is not much bread. I was bored & hungry. Ain't it purtay? Then, I realised Mother & Father just bought a whole bunch of snacks yest when they went to ShengShiong(?). I can practically make a chalet at home.

I had a really awesome week last week. I went out like almost everyday, meet up with sch friends for some bowling & shopping. To top it all was Saturday night dinner with big family. Even though it all started a little rough, it was aweosmoeshitzxashh.

It was a little celebration as my grandparents just a bought a new car & they want to share a little happiness with everyone. No doubt, everyone was enjoying the free meal. Afterall, it's not like we get to meet everyday. We headed for the beach & went for a drink after that before heading home.
